Day 1.  Central Coast– Albury      (LD)

Departing Central Coast this morning we travel south, joining the M7 and the Hume Freeway.  We make our way to historic Goulburn for lunch. Our afternoon’s journey takes your through Gundagai and Holbrook for overnight. In Albury at the Hovell Tree Inn.


Day 2.  Albury - Healsville             (BD)

Travel through Glenrowan (Ned Kelly Country), before joining the Midlands Highway to Mansfield. Our afternoon journey takes us over the Black Spur that winds its way into the Yarra Ranges    National Park. Here we will see tall strands of mountain ash and large tree ferns plus magnificent scenery as we make our way into Lilydale, the gateway to the rich wine and fruit areas of the  Yarra Valley. Our destination for a two nights stay is the Healsville Motor Inn.


Day 3. Healsville Sanctuary        (BLD)

Today we visit Healesville Sanctuary for your chance to get back to nature with some of our beautiful and unique wildlife and enjoy a  picnic lunch in the grounds.  More than just a zoo, this is an amazing place for all ages.


Day 4.  Healsville—Morwell           (BD)

Today we travel through some of  Victoria's most spectacular scenery. The Latrobe Valley lies in the heart of Gippsland, nestled between the Strzelecki and Baw Baw ranges. The area has three  major town centres, Morwell, Traralgon and Moe, and a number of smaller towns including Yinnar, Churchill, Glengarry and Tyers.  Our destination is Morwell for two nights Farnham Court


Day 5. Walhalla Goldfields Rail  &  Local sights                   (BLD)

Today visit Walhalla historic township.  This historic goldmining town was a boom town in the 1880’s and was one of the richest gold areas in Australia. When the gold ran out  Walhalla was virtually frozen in time and power was only     connected in 1998. Today we step back in time to another era.  Today we  enjoy an unforgettable  experience as we ride the historic Walhalla Goldfields.  Railway. This journey offers a wonderful view of Stringers Creek as it meanders down to Thompson River. Enjoy a historic town walk and read the trail of signs, telling the story of the various buildings and historic sites throughout the town. 


Day 6.    Morwell  – Yarram - Via Wilsons Promontory         (BLD)

Leaving Rawson this morning, we make our way through Moe and Leongatha to Wilsons Promontory, the southern most tip of the Australian mainland. First   reserved for a national park back in 1898, it is now one of our best-loved and most popular national parks.  Enjoy a picnic lunch and take a walk along the beach.  Overnight Yarram Motel


Day 7. Yarram—Lakes Entrance                         (BD)

Travel the Gippsland Highway to Sale & Bairnsdale.  Visit the Bairnsdale St Mary’s Church. It's European inspired designs and artwork are the creations of Italian painter Francesco Floriani, who was commissioned to work on the church's interior during the Depression. View the lake system from the lookout, before 2 nights Lakes Entrance.


Day 8.  Gippsland Lakes &  Ninety Mile Beach            (BLD)

This morning we take a cruise on the Gippsland Lakes system, cruising Lake King. Take a cruise on the Gippsland Lakes aboard the ML Stormbird into Lake King, then around the shores of Metung to the Metung Hotel for lunch. Back aboard for a trip around Rigby   Island and Chinamans Creek.


Day 9.  Lakes Entrance - Cooma                      (BLD)

This morning we make our way to the Stony Creek Railway Bridge. Built in 1916 from local timber, the bridge stands 18.6 metres in height and 274 metres in length.  It is believed to be the largest wooden bridge still standing in  Australia.  Travel through the township of Orbost, a delightful timber town on the banks of the Snowy River. Visit the township of Cann River, before skirting the Coopracamba National Park, travelling through the  picturesque wool, beef  cattle and timber country.  Visit the quaint township of  Bombala, before arriving in Cooma for overnight at the  Sovereign   Motor Inn.


Day 10. Cooma - Central Coast     (BD)

Travelling through the outskirts of  Canberra we make our way homeward, re-joining the Hume Freeway  and the M7.  Once on the Central Coast, you will transfer into our mini buses for return to your home.
